Boys Finish 11th of 27 at ALL SPSL TOURNAMENT
Congrats to SIX placers from Kentridge at the All SPSL!
Derek claims his 3rd All SPSL championship with a nerve-wracking 1-0 win over 3A State champ Brandon Kaylor! Also placing today was Savone Chham; 6th at 126. Savone reinjured his elbow in the consolation semifinal and had to forfeit the next 2 matches to fall to 6th. Too bad but great Tourney anyway! Jian Chen took an impressive 8th at 132, the Shores brothers had a great family showing with John getting 7th at 145 and Isaiah 6th at 160. Rounding out the effort was J.T. Getting 6th at 285 with a couple of agonizing shoulda coulda matches for a possible higher finish. We are proud of the KR boys today but there is so much more potential there waiting to come out!

A few fact errors, but otherwise a fun article about KR printed on New Years Eve Day. Good picture of Derek from a 3rd place match against Jeremy Nygard at the State Tournament last year. **PDF**
