Kentridge finished 15th out of 44 teams with 84.5 pts, just behind Henley, OR and the Canada B.C Champs, with 16th place way back at 68.
The rest of the team did great also contributing team points to the total but not placing. Congrats to Nathan Hobbs, Jian Chen, Tyler Smith, Phoenix Copp, Reese Hobday, Caleb Williams, Josh Gonzales and Solomon Campos on strong wrestling Friday with several of them missing Saturday by 1 match. Savone Chham had a great day and probably would have advanced to Saturday but had to withdraw after a win with his elbow hurting.

Congrats to SIX placers from Kentridge at All SPSL today! Derek claims his 3rd All SPSL championship with a nerve-wracking 1-0 win over 3A State champ Brandon Kaylor!
Also placing today was Savone Chham 6th at 126. Savone reinjured his elbow in the consolation semifinal and had to forfeit the next 2 matches to fall to 6th.
Too bad, but great Tourney anyway!
Jian Chen took an impressive 8th at 132, the Shores brothers had a great family showing with John getting 7th at 145 and Isaiah 6th at 160.
Rounding out the results was J.T. Getting 6th at 285 with a couple of agonizing shoulda coulda matches for a possible higher finish.
