Kentridge has 2 Regional Champions! (the 1st time with 2 champs since 1985)
Derek Freitag-113 and Isaiah Shores-160 both took home titles today!
Derek became the FIRST 4 time State Participant in KR History!
Nathan Hobbs-120 added a 2nd place w/ a rematch against Sandhu from KW.
Tyler Lantz-120 took 3rd knocking off #1 seed from Battle Ground In the 1st round and again in battle for 3rd and 4th.
Phoenix Copp wrestled and Overtime match against returning state placer from Union for 4th.
Payton Viltz-152 wrestled a tough match to take 4th.
KR took the most boys to State since 1972!
Jian Chen-132 will go as an alternate after his 5th place. Way to go boys!
For the girls, Joella Vi-145 placed 5th and will also go to State!
Paris Smith-120 placed 6th and is an alternate.
Altogether, KR has 7 going to State with 2 Alternates. We have never sent more than 7 total to State so this is shaping up to be one of the best years ever in the post season.
